Local author and former high school English teacher Charles Bright, Washington, will hold a book signing at The Landing Thursday, Feb. 21, at 6:30 p.m. for his new book, “Troubled Waters,” a murder mystery thriller set in a town based on Washington. Bright will read excerpts from the book, as well as the next book in the “Charlie King Series.”

The event also will include presentations by Mary Eigel, who will discuss her book-in-production and her artwork; Marie Enger, who created the cover art for “Troubled Waters”; and possibly some musicians who will play and discuss songwriting.
