Meeting Tuesday on Highway A Project
The Missouri Department of Transportation will hold a public meeting this Tuesday, Dec. 18, at the St. Gertrude Parish Center on Highway YY to outline plans for a major improvement project along Highway A, between Washington and Union.
During the open house, which will run from 2 to 7 p.m., property owners will be able to view preliminary improvement plans and ask questions.
The state is planning to resurface the highway, add 2-foot shoulders where possible and make other improvements along the approximate eight-mile section from Chamber Drive in Washington to north of Independence Drive at Union.
