The third annual Borgia Fest, featuring rides, food, game booths and music will be held on the St. Francis Borgia Regional High School campus this Friday from 4 to 11 p.m., and Saturday, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Admission is free.

More than 15 carnival rides will be set up. Discounted ride tickets are available in advance in the main office at Borgia or by calling 636-239-7871, extension 113.

During Borgia Fest, ride tickets will be sold at a ticket booth for $1 each. Each ride takes one, two, or three tickets, depending on the ride.

Also on both days, a wide variety of food items will be available, such as pulled pork, brats, hot dogs, barbecued hamburgers, as well as funnel cakes, kettle korn, Borgia cookies, Ted Drewes frozen custard, and other items. Soda, beer and wine also will be available.

Game booths will include games of chance that will appeal to adults, teens and younger children.

Many of these food and game booths will be provided by Borgia’s partner grade schools and parishes.

A handmade quilt will be raffled off for $2 per chance, or three for $5. Tickets are available in the main office and will be sold at the event.

The Mr. Borgia Contest will be held in the theater that Friday at 7 p.m. Cost of admission is $3.

Under the main tent, Burnt Whiskey will play from 3 to 7 p.m., followed by Jeremiah Johnson with The Sliders from 7 to 11 p.m.
