Wright City Captures First Win, Warrenton Falls to West

Wright City 26, Bowling Green 21

The Wright City football team earned its first win of the season, defeating Bowling Green 26-21.

The victory snapped a 10-game losing streak for the Wildcats.

St. Charles West 41, Warrenton 21

The Warrenton football team fell 41-21 to St. Charles West during Week Five.

The Warriors were unable to thwart their visitors inside running attack, falling behind 28-0 by halftime.

Senior quarterback T.J. Lafaver put Warrenton on the board early in the fourth quarter with a 61-yard touchdown run.

He added another long scoring run before hooking up on a 26-yard touchdown strike to senior Evan Costello with 1:29 remaining.
