Wendys in Warrenton to Open Soon

The Wendy’s restaurant in Warrenton is ready to open Tuesday, Sept. 25, with 40 employees, according to Eleanora Bazile, field marketing manager.

A grand opening and VIP community celebration will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, Sept. 24.

The dining room will be open until 10 p.m. nightly and the pickup window will be open until 1 a.m. The restaurant opens at 10 a.m. daily.

Stephanie Thomas of Warrenton will be the new general manager.

Ben F. Blanton Construction of St. Peters is the general contractor for the 2,000-square-foot building which features the company’s ultra-modern design image.

The design concept was based on Midwestern contemporary architecture and was inspired by Frank Lloyd Wright.

Wendy’s trademark red blade element creates a striking impact on the interior and exterior of the building and floor-to-ceiling windows at the front allow ample daylight.

There will be outdoor patio seating, in addition to interior private booths, lounge seating and a Wi-Fi bar with free Wi-Fi. Other amenities include flat panel televisions.

Digital menu boards, being tested across the country, use a mix of photography, video and graphics.

In addition to Wendy’s standard menu, several test products including their proprietary Red Head Roasters coffee line and baked goods will be offered. More than 100 regular and low-cal beverages will be offered at the touch-screen, self-serve fountains.

Wendy’s motto, “Quality Is Our Recipe,” appears on the front of the building at the roof line.

The Warrenton Wendy’s is located at 902 Highway 47 North.

Three additional Wendy’s are planned in the St. Louis area.
