Union Freshman Coons Named to All-State Team
Ranked eighth in the final Class 2 Missouri Soccer Coaches Association state poll, the Union Lady ’Cats placed one player on this spring’s Class 2 all-state team.
Freshman Bethany Coons was selected as a forward for the team after scoring 55 goals and 13 assists this past season.
Coons also was named to the Class 2 All-St. Louis Region team and was one of four players not from St. Dominic to be picked for that squad.
Union won the FRC and district titles this spring.
