Man Hurt In Crash Near Union
A Middletown, Mo., man was seriously hurt Friday when the car he was a passenger in was involved in a near head-on crash on Highway 47.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol preliminary report, Nina J. Morris, 52, Middletown, was driving a 2001 Mercury Grand Marquis northbound on Highway 47 at 5:15 p.m. when it was struck by a 2011 Chevrolet Cruze that was driven over the centerline by Rishell K. Rhoades, 21, Sullivan.
Passenger Gary P. Regot, 79, suffered serious injuries
Morris and Regot were taken to Mercy Hospital Washington by Union Ambulance after the crash north of College Road. Both drivers and the passenger were wearing seat belts, the patrol said.
