Union Man Flees Police, Later Located
Police located a man wanted on warrants hiding under a pile of clothes at a Union mobile home.
According to police, Nicholas S. Hess, 28, was located Friday, July 13, at a mobile home located off Independence Drive. Officer received information that Hess was in the trailer, and he was found in a bedroom closet under a pile of clothes.
Hess was wanted on a warrant for a stealing charge. There was a $50,000 cash-only bond set.
Earlier that day, Hess was a passenger in a vehicle stopped by police. While the car was still moving, Hess fled from the vehicle and into woods behind the same mobile home where he was located.
