Because of ongoing construction work which has closed the intersection of Independence Drive and Main Street to traffic, fairgoers are being advised to take the following alternate routes:

Tractor-trailer drivers and those with trailers coming from west of Union on Highway 50 are advised to take Highway 47 north to Independence Drive. From there, drivers should turn left on Autumn Hill Drive to access the fairgrounds.

Those coming from East of Union on Highway 50 with trailers are advised to take the same route, Highway 50 to Highway 47 north to Independence Drive to Autumn Hill Drive.

Other patrons traveling to the Fair may take Highway 50 to Oak Street, by Moto Mart.

From there, people should turn left onto Main Street and then right onto Christina Avenue. Those wishing to park by Union Middle School may make a left onto West End Avenue. Those wishing to park at the City Park may continue on Christina until they get to a fork in the road and then make a left.

Parking will be available at the park and swimming pool.

Those coming from Highway 47 north are advised to take Independence Drive, turning left onto Washington Avenue.

From there drivers should take a right at the stop sign onto West Park Avenue to reach the swimming pool and park parking lots.
