Union Police are looking for a man who snatched a purse from a shopping cart Wednesday, Nov. 28, and fled Fricks Market while carrying an infant.

The purse was stolen from the 84-year-old woman’s cart about 2:40 p.m. while she was shopping in the store, according to Union police.

The suspect is a white male in his 20s who was seen fleeing on foot from the store while carrying the small child, authorities said.

The victim’s wallet was recovered the next day in a trash can at the Phillips 66 Gas Station located at 1000 E. Main St.

Police processed the wallet for evidence and returned it to the victim.
