Washington police suspect that speed and alcohol were factors in a crash Thursday night that injured three people. While full details were not available as The Missourian was going to press Friday, police said that this car, which was westbound on Highway 100, slammed into the rear of another vehicle that was stopped at a red light at A. Roy Drive. A third vehicle also was struck. Three people were taken by Washington Ambulance to Mercy Hospital Washington for examination and treatment. The crash happened about 8:43 p.m., police said.
