Union Man Seriously Injured in Crash
A Union man was seriously injured Thursday, Nov. 15, when the car he was a passenger in left the road and struck a ditch and utility pole in Saline County.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol preliminary report, Garrett R. Hill, 20, Union, was a passenger in a 2000 Chevrolet driven by Zachary J. Bumstead, 19, St. Peters, that left the road at 10:12 p.m.
Hill and Jacob V. Pederson, 20, San Jose, Cailf., were taken by ambulance to Fitzgibbon Hospital. The passengers and driver all were wearing seat belts, the patrol said.
