Washington Woman Hurt in Tuesday Afternoon Crash
A Washington woman was seriously injured Tuesday afternoon in a two-car crash on Highway 100 at Route T, the Missouri Highway Patrol reported.
The patrol said the crash involved cars driven by Danielle N. Corley, 38, and Barbara J. Burgess, 63, both of Washington.
The patrol said Corley was driving east on Highway 100 and Burgess was driving on Highway T. The crash happened when Burgess attempted to cross Highway 100 and collided with the Corley vehicle, according to the preliminary patrol report.
Burgess was transported by Washington Ambulance to Mercy Hospital St. Louis at Creve Coeur with apparent serious injuries.
Both drivers were wearing safety belts when the 12:58 p.m. crash occurred.
