East Central College is still registering students for summer classes that begin Monday, June 4.

College officials encourage current and new students who are interested in enrolling to contact the college as soon as possible.

Cookie Hays, vice president of student development at ECC, noted that space is still available in many class sections.

“People may select from day, evening and online courses,” said Hays. “They can enroll for a class or two to fit their work or family schedule. Summer is also a great time for those students who attend other college or universities to pick up a class through ECC to lighten their course load in the future.”

“Summer classes meet for just eight weeks and students always have at least a three-day weekend since there are no Friday classes,” Hays stated.

She noted that summer session classes will be held at the main campus in Union and satellite locations in Sullivan, Rolla and Washington.

The complete listing of summer classes at all ECC locations is available at www.eastcentral.edu.

For more information, people may call 636-584-6588 or email admissions@eastcentral.edu.

ECC will be closed for the Memorial Day holiday from Friday, May 25, through Monday, May 28. All locations will reopen Tuesday, May 29.
