McKenzie White Wins The Bee; 2012 Spelling Competition Goes 23 Rounds
The Bee Champions
McKenzie White, right, was the 2012 The Bee champion and Garrick Ogle earned runner-up in The Bee, The Missourian’s regional spelling competition held at East Central College. Students from 39 schools competed for nine rounds before White and Ogle dueled through 33 words for the championship. The 2013 competition of The Bee will be held on Saturday, April 20 at East Central College.
