Heavy Rains Raise Missouri River Levels

The river stage at Washington was 15.5 feet as of noon Monday. Friday evening, it was at 7.6 feet.

The river crested at 16.5 feet Sunday morning, April 15, and is expected to crest at 17.1 feet by Friday, April 20. At 17.5 feet, the lower parking lot at the riverfront is closed.

Action stage at Washington is at 18 feet and flood stage is at 20 feet.

At Hermann, the river crested at 18.9 feet early Sunday morning, April 15, and is expected to crest again early Friday morning, April 20, at 19.7 feet, above action stage. Flood stage at Hermann is at 21 feet.
