Man Dies in Crash South of Pacific
A Franklin County man died early Sunday morning following a one-car crash south of Pacific.
The Missouri Highway Patrol reported that Benjamin A. Cochran, 29, Pacific, was westbound on Bend Road when the Ford SUV he was driving ran off the right side of the road and struck a tree.
Cochran, who was not wearing a safety belt, was pronounced dead at the scene by a Meramec Ambulance EMT, according to the preliminary patrol report.
The 12:15 a.m. crash happened 74 feet east of Green River Trail, the patrol said.
