Three Hurt In I-44 Crash Thanksgiving Day
A Union man and two Waynesville residents were hurt Thursday in a rear-end crash on Interstate 44.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol preliminary report, Landon C. Kemp, 28, Union, was driving a 2002 Lincoln LS westbound on I-44 at 5:30 p.m. when the vehicle struck the rear of a 2002 Buick Rendezvous driven by Patricia D. Beggs, 59, Waynesville.
Both drivers and Luther T. Woodham, 53, Waynesville, were taken to Mercy Hospital Washington by Meramec Ambulance with injuries. They all were wearing seat belts, the patrol said.
Kemp was arrested on suspicion of assault, armed criminal action and driving while intoxicated, according to the patrol.
