Pacific Man Gets Two Years in Child Porn Case
A Pacific man was sentenced Thursday to two years in prison in a federal child pornography case.
William Rutledge, 70, appeared before U.S. District Court Judge John A. Ross who ordered him to serve 24 months in a federal prison, the U.S. attorney’s office said.
Rutledge pleaded guilty in June to one felony count of possessing child pornography.
A federal grand jury indictment handed up earlier alleged that Rutledge possessed child porn between January and July 2010.
The case was investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Jennifer Roy.
