Gray Summit Man, Woman Hurt in Motorcycle Crash

Two Gray Summit residents were injured late Wednesday, July 4, when they were involved in a one-vehicle crash on Highway 50 just east of Union.

The Missouri Highway Patrol reported that Michael W. Bramlett, 32, and Susan L. Warner, 26, suffered moderate and serious injuries, respectively, when they were involved in the motorcycle accident at 11:56 p.m. on July 4.

The patrol stated that Bramlett was driving a 2007 Honda Shadow east on Highway 50 about one-tenth of a mile west of Highway AT when the motorcycle traveled off the right side of the road, struck a concrete culvert and overturned. Both individuals, who were wearing helmets, were thrown from the vehicle.

Warner was transported by air ambulance to Mercy Hospital St. Louis. Bramlett was taken by Union EMS to Mercy Hospital Washington.

The Shadow was totaled.
