A Franklin County woman was injured Monday afternoon when she was ejected from the vehicle she was driving on Highway 100, east of Washington.
The Missouri Highway Patrol said April M. Helderman, 22, Villa Ridge, was westbound in a 1997 Chevrolet Blazer when she lost control. The SUV ran off the right side of the road, overturned, struck a concrete wall and came to rest on its wheels, according to the preliminary patrol report.
Helderman, who was not wearing a safety belt, was taken by Washington Ambulance to Mercy Hospital Washington with apparent moderate injuries, the patrol said.
The 12:15 p.m. crash happened east of Jones Lane, according to the report.
