CHESTERFIELD, Mo. (AP) — A fire investigator says a hangar and a plane in which it was store at a suburban St. Louis airport were damaged in a blaze.

Monarch Fire Protection District Marshal Roger Herin tells KMOX-AM (http://cbsloc.al/2f488ND ) that a passer-by noticed smoke coming from the 12-angar complex about 1 a.m. Monday at the Spirit of St. Louis Airport near Chesterfield.

Herin says several other planes sustained smoke damage.

No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire was not immediately clear.
