As a state agency, the Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) remains open during this shutdown of the federal government.

MDC services, offices, facilities, boat accesses, and conservation areas remain open to public use, including hunting, fishing, hiking, and other outdoor activities.

Contact appropriate federal agencies regarding facilities or services at national parks, national forests or other federal lands.
