Siblings Charged After Fatal Heroin Overdose Associated Press |

TROY, Mo. (AP) — An eastern Missouri brother and sister are facing charges for allegedly supplying the heroin that killed a 30-year-old Lincoln County man.

Douglas Geiger was found dead Monday night inside a motel room in Troy. Detectives found drug paraphernalia, along with six capsules of heroin and two empty capsules.

Siblings James Voss and Wendy Voss are charged with distributing a controlled substance. Detectives say James Voss told them his sister sold heroin to Geiger, and James Voss delivered it. James Voss also allegedly told police he prepared the heroin and gave Geiger a syringe to inject it.

Neither James nor Windy Voss has a listed attorney.
