JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (AP) —

Jefferson City police say a teenager who had been reporting missing has been found safe.

Sixteen-year-old Kiera McLellan was found Monday at a friend's house. She was taken into juvenile custody.

The Jefferson City News-Tribune reports (http://bit.ly/YBK6Ih ) police, school resource officers and the SWAT team searched for the teen after her parents reported her missing Sunday. She did not come home Saturday night and did not report to work Sunday.
