FLORISSANT, Mo. (AP) — A toddler is OK, but the woman who was watching him is being questioned after the boy was found shoeless in a St. Louis County street.

KMOV-TV (http://bit.ly/IPyT1l ) reports that Katisha Reese was driving to work Monday when she nearly struck the boy. She picked him up and called police.

St. Louis County officers knocked on doors. At the third home, a woman in her 20s told police she was watching the child and thought he was in bed.

Police took the woman in.

The child is a foster child and is now back with his foster parents. He was not hurt.
