A Warrenton man and a Bowling Green man were killed early Tuesday morning after their motorcycles collided with a Wentzville school bus.

The motorcyclists were identified as Jacob D. Boedeker, 22, of Warrenton and Matthew A. Adam, 43, of Bowling Green. Boedeker was riding a 2005 Honda CBR 600 and Adam was driving a 2011 Kawasaki Ninja.

The accident occurred at approximately 6:45 a.m. on Highway A between Highway 61 and Parr Road near the Wentzville auto plant.

A third motorcyclist, Adam G. Meyer, 25, of Warrenton, was traveling with Boedeker and Adam on Highway A at the time of the accident.

According to the Highway Patrol, Adam and Boedecker collided with the driver's side of the school bus. Meyer's motorcycle, a 2005 Yamaha R1, struck the crash debris and he was ejected from his bike. He was uninjured.

No students were on the bus at the time of the accident.

The bus was leaving the school district's transportation facility and turning left onto Highway A when the accident occurred. There is no traffic signal at the intersection.

The bus driver, Pamela Love, 50, Wright City, was injured and taken to a local hospital with moderate injuries.
