ST. CHARLES, Mo. (AP) — Police in St. Charles County are investigating three separate recent reports of men who suspiciously approached children, raising kidnapping concerns.
The St. Louis Post-Dispatch (http://bit.ly/1iz5dZ6 ) reports that the incidents happened in three different jurisdictions. Last week, men approached children in Lake St. Louis and O'Fallon. In both cases, the men asked the kids if they wanted candy. On Sunday in West Alton, a man asked a girl walking to church to come to his car.
In all three cases, the children got away safely. Police do not know if the cases are related.
