St. Clair Man Killed in Motorcycle Crash on I-44
A 33-year-old St. Clair man died Saturday evening when he was involved in a motorcycle crash on Interstate 44 near the Highway 50 exit outside Union.
According to the Missouri Highway Patrol’s preliminary report, Myron P. Webb was pronounced dead at the scene of the one-vehicle accident that occurred at 7 p.m. on Aug. 25 at I-44 mile marker 247.
The patrol stated that Webb was eastbound on the interstate on a 2002 Kawasaki Ninja when he lost control of the bike and traveled off the right side of the road. The impact of the crash ejected the man from the vehicle. He was wearing a helmet.
According to the patrol’s report, there were no other vehicles involved.
The motorcycle was totaled.
