Two Vechicals Overturn Along Highway FF Last Week
A Richwoods woman was injured Friday afternoon when she drove her car off the side of Highway FF just north of Project Road.
The Missouri Highway Patrol stated that Melissa L. Thurmon, 24, suffered moderate injuries in the 12:42 p.m. accident.
The crash took place at the same location on Highway FF as an accident earlier in the week.
According to the patrol, Thurmon was northbound in a 2007 Dodge Caliber on Highway FF about one-tenth of a mile north of Project Road when she lost control of the car, traveled off the right side of the road and overturned. The patrol stated Thurmon, who was not wearing a safety belt, was traveling too fast for conditions.
She was taken to Mercy Hospital St. Louis by St. Clair ambulance personnel. The Caliber was totaled.
