Two Pacific elementary schools are planning same-day spring rummage sales to raise funds for school activities.

Truman Elementary, 101 Indian Warpath Drive and Zitzman Elementary, 255 S. Indian Pride Drive, will both offer yard sale items.

The event will take place Saturday, April 27. The Zitzman sale will open at 7 a.m. and continue to noon. Truman sales will begin at 8 a.m. and continue to 1 p.m.

The Truman PTO and School Age Child Care (SACC) are sponsoring the Truman sale. The event will offer a small concession stand, balloon making clowns and face painting.

Vendors are invited to participate. For booth information, contact Brenda Kennon, Truman SACC coordinator, 636-271-1461.

“Zitzman did it last year,” Kennon said. “We just thought if folks are going to be out looking for spring yard sales they’d like to go to more than one place.”

Anyone wanting to donate items that can be sold can bring them to the SACC program at the Truman Elementary side door between 4 and 6 p.m. Donated items that are not sold will be donated to Pacific Agape House.

Sandy Aehle, Zitzman Elementary PTO, will chair the Zitzman sale.

Proceeds from these events will benefit student activities at both schools.

For information on the Truman sale call Brenda at 636-271-1461 and Carol at 636-257-2070 for Zitzman information.
