Bike Acrobats Visit Middle School to Reward Students
A group of bicycle acrobats brought their high jumps and mid-air spins to the Meramec Valley Middle School to reward students for their efforts in a recent fundraiser.
A BMX bike show was performed for middle school students, according to Amy Sauvage, MVMS and Riverbend School library media specialist.
“Our very own assistant principal, Mr. Larry Carter, was brave enough to allow one of the performers to jump over his head,” Sauvage said.
Lone Star Action Sports agreed to visit the school as a reward for students who sold at least one magazine subscription during the drive held to raise funds for the school.
The top five sellers received VIP passes to the show that included autographs from the performers.
Lone Star Action Sports have been to the X games and were on America’s Got Talent Show in Las Vegas.
The top five sellers were Abby George, Johanna Schultz, Taylor Jones, Sam Dean and Nicholas Misener.
