Pacific High School to Stage ‘Hello Dolly’ This Weekend
The Pacific High School drama club will present the classic musical comedy “Hello, Dolly!” for four days this weekend.
The show opens Thursday, Nov. 1, and continues through Sunday, Nov. 4.
Curtain time for Thursday, Friday and Saturday is 7 p.m. Sunday’s matinee performance begins at 3 p.m.
Ticket cost is $8 for adults and $4 for students. Tickets will be available at the door, but for those who prefer, advance tickets can be secured by visiting the school district’s website (www.mvr3.k12.mo.us) or by contacting Ed Kappeler directly at ekappeler@mvr3.k12.mo.us.
In addition, a free show for senior citizens will be presented Thursday morning, Nov. 1, at 9 a.m. Seating for this show is limited, however. Advance reservations are required and can be made by calling the high school office at 636-271-1414.
Directed by Paula Nolley, “Hello, Dolly!” features period costumes, a set design by Fred Nolley and musical numbers such as “Put On Your Sunday Clothes,” “Before the Parade Passes By” and, of course, the show’s title tune “Hello, Dolly!”
