Trailnet’s Ride the Rivers Century bicycle ride will be held Sunday, Oct. 20, beginning at Point DuSable Park, 2598 N. Main St., St. Charles.
This is an exceptionally scenic ride that takes cyclists across two states, six counties, five trails, three rivers, two bridges, two ferries, one arch and 100 miles. The terrain is flat to rolling hills with some big hills.
Preregistration will be accepted until Oct. 17 at trailnet.org. Registration the day of ride is 6:30 to 8:00 a.m.
Preregistration is recommended.
Registration fee includes Century socks or patch, lunch and food and beverages at all rest stops.
The after party will include live music by Turpentine and Big Mike Aguirre. Food and drink will be available for purchase.

From Interstate 70, take exit 229. Go north on South Fifth Street 1.2 miles to Clark Streeet and turn right. Turn left on North Second Street and continue nine-tenths of a mile to Tecumseh and turn right. Turn left on North Main Street. The park is on the right immediately after passing under MO-370.
