The Blue Canyon Boys, a bluegrass band out of Colorado, will be in Labadie Sunday, Aug. 14, for an outdoor concert at 5 p.m.

Band member Jason Hicks, guitar, grew up in Labadie.

The show will be held on acreage next to the old Labadie train station depot, 128 Front Street, that is currently being renovated for an arts and antiques emporium.

People should bring lawn chairs or blankets. Food and beverages will be available for purchase on site, although people are welcome to bring their own.

Advanced tickets are available at the Labadie Station or at Labadie Market. Tickets also will be available at the gate.

The concert will be held rain or shine.

The Blue Canyon Boys were winners of the 2008 Telluride Bluegrass Festival and performed at the 2011 Borneo Rainforest World.
