A new concert series featuring acoustic, singer-songwriter, bluegrass, old-time and folk music will hold its first event in Downtown Washington this Saturday.

The Listening Room Concert Series at Main Events, 110 Main St., Washington, is located in the space formerly occupied by Mann- Well’s Coffee Alley.

The venue seats 100 people for an intimate setting allowing the audience to actually listen and experience the music/performer up close without bar background noise. The series will host local and regional performers.
