Gerald Woman Seriously Hurt in Crash
A Gerald resident suffered serious injuries Saturday afternoon in a two-vehicle collision in Gasconade County, according to the Missouri Highway Patrol.
Shane P. Haley, 26, Owensville, was westbound on Highway 28 in a 1997 Dodge pickup truck and failed to yield while making a left turn, according to the preliminary patrol report.
The Haley truck crossed into the path of an eastbound 2006 Ford driven by Joann J. Groff, 48, Gerald, and the two vehicles collided, according to the report.
Groff was transported from the scene by air ambulance to Mercy Hospital St. Louis, Creve Coeur.
Haley sustained apparent minor injuries and sought treatment on his own, the patrol said.
The 12:45 p.m. crash happened at Pump Station Road.
