Woman Seriously Hurt in Saturday Morning Crash
A St. Clair woman was seriously injured early Saturday in a one-car crash, the Missouri Highway Patrol reported.
Jocelyn G. Montgomery, 32, was northbound on Highway K when she lost control, ran off the left side of the road and her 2002 Chevrolet Trailblazer struck a utility police, according to the preliminary patrol report.
Montgomery, who was not wearing a safety belt, was transported by air ambulance to Mercy Hospital Creve Coeur for treatment, the patrol said.
The patrol said the driver was arrested and released later on suspicion of driving while intoxicated, according to an online patrol arrest report.
The 2 a.m. crash occurred near Wright's Lodge Road, the patrol reported.
