Pacific Woman Killed in Crash Thursday

A Franklin County woman died Thursday in a two-vehicle traffic crash in St. Louis County, east of Pacific.

The Missouri Highway Patrol said Mary K. Rallo, 55, Pacific, was westbound on Highway 66 when she lost control shortly before 8 a.m.

Rallo's 2003 Dodge Dakota struck the right guardrail,then crossed the highway and struck the left guardrail then was struck by an eastbound 2013 Kenworth tractor trailer driven by Michael A. Middleton, 54, Las Vegas, Nev.

Rallo, who was not wearing a safety belt, was pronounced dead at the scene by Pacific Fire Department personnel, according to the preliminary highway patrol report.

The patrol said the 7:52 a.m. crash happened one mile west of Dozier Crossing.
