Villa Ridge Woman Seriously Hurt in Crash
A Franklin County woman was reported to be in serious condition following a one-car crash Saturday afternoon in Washington County.
The Missouri Highway Patrol reported that Molly J. Butterworth, 38, Villa Ridge, was transported by air ambulance to Mercy Hospital St. Louis, Creve Coeur, following the 3:35 p.m. crash.
Butterworth was driving a 1996 BMW northbound on Highway 185, north of Route C, when she lost control. The car ran off the right side of the roadway, then overturned and struck several trees before coming to rest on its top, according to the preliminary patrol report.
Butterworth was wearing a safety belt, the patrol said.
