The annual Riverfront Trail Day for senior citizens and people who are physically disabled will be held Wednesday, June 5, with a rain date set for Wednesday, June 12.

The day will include free narrated tram rides and wheelchair escorts along the trail, free refreshments and bingo, live music by Mike Rufkahr, a display by the Washington Historicl Society, valet parking and free transportation to and from the event for people living within the Washington city limites.

A free lunch will include hot dogs, hamburgers, ice cream, cookies and drinks. Lunch will be served from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Wheelchair escorts will be at 8 a.m., 9 a.m. and 10 a.m.

Tram rides will be at 9 a.m., 10 a.m., 11 a.m., noon, 1 p.m. and 2 p.m.

Bingo games under the main pavilion will start at 9 a.m. and will end at 2 p.m.

The event is sponsored by the Washington Rotary Club and the Washington Parks and Recreation Department.
