Seniors have plenty of opportunities to take advantage of special rates at many golf courses throughout the area.
•Wolf Hollow Golf Club — The 18-hole public course is located just off Highway 100 between Washington and Interstate 44.
The par-71 course measures 6,803 yards from the men’s tees and 4,913 yards from the women’s tees.
On weekdays before 8 a.m., the fee is $1 per hole with a cart. Every day after 5 or 6 p.m., depending on the time of the year, the fee is $1 per hole with a cart.
Senior rates on weekdays are $23.50 for 18 holes with a cart. Senior scrambles run on alternating Wednesdays in every month.

•Meramec Lakes Golf Course — The 18-hole public course is located just off Highway 30 on Gravois Road in St. Clair, five miles south of Interstate 44.
The par-71 course measures 6,432 yards. Senior weekday rates with a cart are $20 for 18 holes and $16 for nine holes. The website is www.merameclakes.com.
•Birch Creek Golf Club — The par-72 course measures 6,920 yards.
The 18-hole public course is located at 499 North Service Road in Union, approximately 1 1/2 miles southwest of the interchange between Highway 50 and Interstate 44.
Birch Creek offers a variety of rate packages and leagues throughout the golf season.

•Franklin County Country Club — The 18-hole private club is located off Highway A in Krakow.
The par-71 golf course measures 6,494 yards from the back tees. The men’s tees measure 5,985 yards. The women’s tees measure 4,654 yards.

•Loutre Shore Country Club — The nine-hole par-36 course measures 3,387 yards.
The semiprivate club is located just north of Hermann. The public is welcome and encouraged to play at the course.
From Washington, take Highway 100 west to Hermann. Turn right at the Missouri River bridge on to Highway 19 North. From there, travel three miles to Loutre Shore on the left.
Every Thursday, golfers can play an unlimited amount of holes for $1 per hole, which includes a cart. A minimum payment of nine holes is required.

•Warrenton Golf Course — The 18-hole public course is located just off Highway 47.
The par-70 course measures 5,821 yards. Golfers 60 and older can play 18 holes with a cart for $20 on weekdays.

•Country Lake Golf Course — The 18-hole public course is located in Warrenton.
The par-71 course measures approximately 6,200 yards.
Country Lake’s largest and most popular event is the Wednesday morning senior scramble. It’s a two-person flighted tournament that includes 18 holes with a cart, coffee, doughnuts and prizes.

•Incline Village Golf Club — The 18-hole public course is located in Foristell in St. Charles County.
The par-72 public golf course measures 6,008 yards. One of the club’s biggest events is a Monday morning two-person senior scramble, which includes 18 holes with a cart, coffee and doughnuts. Cash prizes are awarded.

•Innsbrook Resort Golf Course — The 18-hole public course is located about 35 minutes north of Washington, five miles south of Wright City on Highway F.
The par-70 public course measures 6,527 yards. The course offers a two-person senior scramble every Tuesday morning that includes 18 holes with cart, coffee, doughnuts and cash prizes for $24 per person.
