The Franklin County Republican Central Committee met Tuesday night and elected members of its executive committee.

For the coming year, Tim Millerick, committeeman from Boles Township, was re-elected chairman, he told The Missourian Wednesday.

Millerick said Robbie Brouk, Calvey Township committeewoman, was elected vice chair.

Jerry Breihan, Lyon Township committeeman, was elected treasurer.

His wife, Joan, was elected secretary. She ran unsuccessfully for the Lyon Township committeewoman position, but lost to Nancy Bruder.

Joan Breihan is not a member of the central committee, but state party bylaws allow the secretary and treasurer to be non-committee members.

Other central committee members, according to the central committee’s website, candidate filings and the Aug. 7 election results include:

Sue Luedde, Boles Township committeewoman;

Mark Falloon, Boone Township committeeman;

James Deniston, Calvey Township committeeman;

Russell Wagner, Prairie Township committeeman;

Verlee Fritzmeyer, St. John’s Township committeewoman;

Tom Heitzmann, Union Township commiteeman;

Pam Heitzmann, Union Township committeewoman;

Ed Hume, Union Ward 2 committeeman;

Janet Niermeyer, Union Ward 2 committeewoman;

Carolyn Sansone-Webb, Union Ward 3 committeewoman;

Karen Erwin, Union Ward 4 committeewoman;

Sandra Davidson, Sullivan Ward 2 committeewoman;

Terry Wilson, Washington Ward 1 committeeman;

Joy Gerstein, Washington Ward 1 committeewoman;

Steve Sullentrup, Washington Ward 2 committeeman;

Nick Kotakis, Washington Ward 4 committeeman; and

Alisha Allison, Washington Ward 4 committeewoman.

The committee has 22 filled positions and 34 vacancies.

Wilson also was nominated for chairman.
