A total of 68,829 voters are registered in Franklin County for the Aug. 7 primary election, according to the Missouri Centralized Voter Registration database.
That’s up about 2.2 percent from the 67,335 in the county four years ago.
A precinct-by-precinct comparison is difficult because some precincts have changed slightly. The Beaufort-Union precinct no longer includes Pea Ridge. Dry Branch is now two precincts and includes a portion of the Stanton precinct.
Voters will decide on one state constitutional amendment and some county and state races.
A lack of candidates from the other side of the aisle means some Republicans who win their primary elections will be unopposed in November.
