Washington Farmers’ Market Will Open Saturday
The Washington Farmers’ Market will reopen this Saturday, April 7, at 317 W. Main St. in Downtown Washington.
The covered market will be open Saturdays from April 7 through Oct. 27, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The market also will be open Wednesdays from 3-6 p.m. from May 2 through Oct. 31.
In November and December, the market will be open Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
This year, there will be an opening day ceremony. The ceremony will begin at 7:55 a.m. and a craft for children will be offered from 9-10 a.m.
This year’s market will include bedding plants, produce, baked items, jams, jellies, woodcarvings, jewelry, crafts and other items.
This year, the market also hopes to offer meat, however, no meat vendors have been confirmed.
For more information about the Washington Farmers’ Market, people may contact the Washington Area Chamber of Commerce, 636-239-2715.
