Rau Joins KMOV, Channel 4 News

Emily Rau, a 2006 graduate of Washington High School, has joined KMOV, Channel 4, a CBS affiliate in St. Louis, as a reporter.

Rau graduated cum laude from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2010 with a degree in radio-television journalism with a minor in political science.

During college, she worked for KOMU, a NBC affiliate in Columbia. After graduation, she worked for WVEC, an ABC affiliate in Norfolk, Va. She joined KMOV in July.

At KMOV, she primarily will cover St. Charles County, including schools, politics, breaking news, as well as report on “News 4’s” new Sunday morning show.

Rau is the daughter of Dr. Michael and Andrea Rau, Washington. She is the granddaughter of Marguerite and the late Edmund Rau.
