Local Chiropractor Joins Back on Track
Dr. Abby R. Painter, nee Kuenzel, D.C., will join Back on Track Chiropractic in Labadie with appointments beginning Wednesday, Aug. 1.
Painter will be an independent contractor in the office of Dr. Ashley Brunjes, which is located at 108 Front St., Suite 101.
She is a 2012 graduate of Logan College of Chiropractic. She graduated from East Central College, Union, in 2007 and earned a Bachelor of Science in human biology from Logan in 2009.
Painter is a 2005 graduate of Washington High School.
“I look forward to serving the people of Labadie and the surrounding areas,” said Painter, who grew up in Washington. “I’m excited to give back to the community.”
She said she is glad to be close to home.
“This is a community I truly love,” she said. “I look forward to gaining the respect and trust of the community when it comes to their health care needs.”
Painter will offer general chiropractic services including adjustments and physical therapy. She said her goal is to help people get back on their feet as soon as possible, as well as help those who want to take a proactive approach to their health.
Painter is nationally board-certified to work on pregnant women, infants and anyone from birth to senior citizens.
Painter also is working toward getting her acupuncture license.
Once she begins at Back on Track Chiropractic, Painter’s hours will be Mondays and Wednesdays from 3 to 6 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 3 to 6 p.m. and Fridays from 9 a.m. to noon.
Painter and her husband David reside in Union.
