Changes Coming to Club Billboards in Union
There will be some big changes coming to a Union nightclub that officially opened its doors earlier this year.
Club Billboards, adjacent to the Gala Event Center and operated by the same owners, will feature more live music and will feature different hours of operation.
Justin Hall, formerly an owner of Bugsy’s, has taken the reigns to promote the club, with his new business New Beginnings Marketing.
The first event at Club Billboards will be this Friday featuring local musician Will Strubberg.
There we will other live shows in the future, including a Javiar Mendoza concert possibly in August. Plans eventually call for other big name artists to play at Club Billboards.
Many of the musical events will be fundraisers for various local organizations.
According to Hall, the hours of Club Billboards have changed.
The business will be open at 5 p.m. to close on weeknights.
Future plans call for a “wine garden” in the courtyard, which will feature local wines and craft beers.
“We are trying to keep this as a high class place to go,” he said. “You can chill, relax and have a good time.”
There also are plans to make Thursday night a “country night.”
Most evening, Club Billboards will feature a “sports bar” atmosphere.
“We want it to be a fun place to hang out,” said Hall.
