VNA-TIP HealthCare announces the recent hires of Kristen Whipple, RN, and Stephanie Akers, RN, who will both work at the Washington branch.

Whipple will join the VNA-TIP HomeCare team and Akers will join the TIP Hospice team.

Whipple will provide her clinical expertise in a home care setting. She looks forward to the opportunity of working in home health care, and comes to VNA-TIP with previous experience as a charge nurse.

She is a lifelong resident of Washington.

Akers, also of Washington, will provide her clinical expertise in a hospice setting. She has medical billing and coding experience, studying at East Central College and Sanford Brown College, respectively.

Her background of specialized knowledge will be an asset in joining the hospice care team.

TIP Hospice, a division of VNA-TIP HealthCare, is headquartered in Bridgeton with the Washington branch located at 1351 S. Jefferson, Suite 120.

VNA-TIP HealthCare has been recognized nationally for providing some of the highest outcomes both on state and national levels. VNA-TIP HealthCare is rated among the industry’s top home health agencies in the nation, and is the Midwest’s premier home health, hospice and private duty agency.
