Tickets are on sale for the second annual OxFest 2018 Music Festival.

The daylong event will take place Saturday, Sept. 15, at the city park fairgrounds.

Proceeds will benefit the Duane Haddox Scholarship, Whole Kids Outreach and the WINGS Educational Foundation.

Doors will open at noon and the first concert starts at 1 p.m. Families are welcome.

People may bring in their own lawn chairs, pop-up tents and blankets. No outside food or drinks, coolers, pets, firearms or fireworks are allowed.

Food and beer will be available for purchase. A number of vendors will be set up on the grounds, including a shaved ice vendor.

A total of five bands will perform on the main stage. The headliner will be Fat Pocket, recently voted No. 1 party band in St. Louis.

The musical lineup will begin with The Medicine Men at 1 p.m. followed by Burnt Whiskey at 3 p.m. The Tall Poppies will take the stage at 5 p.m. followed by Mack’s Creek at 7 p.m. and then Fat Pocket at 9 p.m.

The festival also will serve as a 40th reunion of the playoff football game between Borgia and Washington High with players from both teams attending.


Tickets can be purchased online at, or at St. Francis Borgia Regional High School, Washington High School, all locations of the Bank of Washington, and the Bank of Franklin County, Washington location.

Tickets also can be purchased at the gate the day of the event. Tickets are $25 for adults and $10 for children, ages 7-12. Children under the age of 7 are free.
